The mission of Anderson Marois & Associates is to provide our clients with the highest level of personal and professional service in the area of Social Security. 

 

We stay up to date on the constantly changing field of Social Security Law and provide aggressive representation for our clients. 

We strive to be caring and compassionate advocates understanding the needs of our disabled claimants; while working hard to obtain the benefits they deserve.

OUR EXPERIENCE

Since our inception, Anderson Marois and Associates has enjoyed great success and has continued to grow.

To date, we have helped tens of thousands of disabled individuals win their claims.

 

Our practice is based in St. Petersburg, Florida (West Central Florida).  We have represented clients in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco and Manatee Counties. We handle claims before the Social Security Administration at all levels of administrative appeal, from the initial application for benefits up to the Appeals Council level.

MICHELE ANDERSON-MAROIS

 

Michele Marois has been involved in Social Security Law for over 30 years. She has represented tens of thousands of disabled people in the State of Florida and local Tampa Bay Area.

 

Michele served as Secretary of the National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR) and was given the Member of the Year award for her service to the organization. She has spoken at NADR conferences on such topics as: Handling Fibromyalgia Claims, Preparing Your Client for the Hearing, Introduction to Social Security Law and Practice and has served as the Claimant’s Advocate in Mock Hearings presented to conference attendees.

 

Michele has been a frequent contributor to the NADR Newsletter, writing on topics such as Res Judicata in Social Security Claims and Important Social Security Rulings. She was part of the first class of advocates to take and pass the rigorous Social Security Administration Examination for Direct Payment. She has maintained her good standing with SSA and is proud to have become an "Accredited Disability Representative," ADR.  She feels that the higher standard of representation set by ADR in terms of both required continuing education and ethical client representation make her a better advocate for her clients.
 

CHRISTOPHER MAROIS

 

Christopher Marois has been involved in Social Security Law for over 30 years. Chris was a member of the first class of advocates to take and pass the rigorous Social Security Administration Examination for Direct Payment.

 

Chris has maintained his good standing with SSA and is proud to have become an “Accredited Disability Representative”, ADR.  As an ADR he has agreed to comply with a Code of Ethics that exceeds SSA’s requirements and commits to hold his client in the highest regard with his client’s welfare being the sole object of his efforts.

 

Christopher Marois served as President, Vice President and Director at Large of the National Association of Disability Representatives. He served as Chairperson of the Legislative Committee where he was involved in supporting legislation that benefited the disabled community. He was awarded the Presidential Achievement Award for his work with NADR. He has spoken frequently at NADR Conferences on issues related to pending disability legislation. Locally he has been a proud member of the Downtown St. Petersburg Rotary Club for over two decades. He served as a Board Member, and President of the club. He is a Paul Harris Fellow.
