Michele Anderson Marois and Christopher Marois formed Anderson Marois & Associates in 1993 as a non-attorney firm
specializing in Social Security disability. Michele is a graduate of the University of Tampa. Christopher
is a graduate of the University of Florida. Both Christopher and Michele are members of NADR - the National Association of
Disability Representatives. Christopher Marois currently serves as the President of NADR and Co-Chair of the Legislative
Affairs Committee. Michele is chairperson of the NADR Conference Committee. Both Michele and Christopher
maintain strong ties to their community with involvement in civic, school, social and church organizations.
Both Christopher Marois and Michele Anderson Marois are proud to have met the stringent criteria to participate in the
current Social Security Fee Withholding Demonstration Project. They have passed a written examination created by the
Social Security Administration to test their knowledge of the rules, regulations and procedures of the disability and SSI
programs. They participate in annual continuing education in the area of Social Security Law.
Christopher Marois and Michele Anderson Marois are frequent speakers about Social Security issues to local community
groups. They have made presentations to mental health support groups, case manager groups and injury support groups.
Since our inception, our company has enjoyed great success and has continued to grow. To date we have helped
thousands of disabled individuals win their claims before the Social Security Administration. Our practice is based in
St. Petersburg, Florida (West Central Florida). We have represented a large number of clients in Pinellas, Hillsborough,
Pasco and Manatee Counties. We handle claims before the Social Security Administration at all levels of administrative appeal,
from the initial application for benefits up to the Appeals Council level.
